For Business
HCT has been operating since 1993, assisting clients in their homes and offices with most major software packages, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and many others. We also provide specialist training for the MYOB and Quickbooks accounting packages and, more recently, have been helping businesses with GST setup and BAS preparation.

For Home Users
We cater for absolute beginners who have recently purchased a computer and want to make the most from it to advanced users. The majority of our home users are mature individuals wanting to learn basic computer skills to be able to relate to their grandchildren, surf the Internet, send e-mail, keep financial records, keep track of their shares online, write their memoirs…the list is endless.

Our Services and Approach
One advantage we offer you is that we are always available for you for ongoing support, whether it be a phone call, an e-mail or an onsite visit.

Our business approach has been successful because our training services are tailored just to your needs and level of experience. We don't waste time covering areas you don't want to learn, or areas and skills you're already comfortable with. We also keep our sessions with you to under 3 hours at one time, to avoid "information overload", which is not conducive to effective learning. We've found that a 1 to 2 hour session is generally most effective.

Our home user approach has been successful because we tailor courses to the needs and level of experience of our clients. We also do not train for any longer than 1- 2 hours at a time as it becomes information overload and this is not conducive to learning.

We tailor exercises for you to work on whilst we are not there and also offer 3 FREE over the phone or email support for established clients. Phone calls thereafter incur the standard hourly rate that applies to you.

Recently we have included a troubleshooting and upgrade service to the already established on-site training.

Sales - Hardware and Software:
We can also supply computer hardware and peripherals such as printers, digital cameras, scanners and more. If it's computer-related, just ask!

Hardware and Software Troubleshooting:
We have also added software and hardware "troubleshooting" and upgrade services to our on-site training. If there is something wrong with your system and you would like a specialist to call and see you we are only a phone call away.

Training Manuals:
We also can design training manuals catered to your needs and level and use your data as examples and exercises. These vary in pricing so please enquire if you would be interested in purchasing one or more. Available in most applications or combinations.

Specialist Trainers and Specialist Consulting Areas:
HCT has expanded recently with a number of specialist training consultants and others that are experts in the areas of networking, desktop graphics, website design, web hosting as well as programming - Java, SQL, Visual Basic, Access and Excel. Our consultants can also help you assess your business computing needs and are able to find ways to streamline processes making your computing time more efficient.
